The journey from drawing to bending conduit can be a long one, especially when you rely on traditional methods. Our bending machine simplifies and accelerates your production process by creating assemblies from single-piece piping stock rather than using multiple cut-to-length straight sections assembled with factory-bent parts brought in from external suppliers.
The Autobend 3D substantially reduces the number of cuts, factory-bent parts,
and couplings required for each assembly, giving you less scrap and increased productivity.

What is the Greenlee AutoBend 3D?
Today’s pipe bending processes are too often characterized by inaccuracy, inefficiency, costly labor and material waste. Many times we see a “Bone Yard” on job sites. However, with the new AutoBend 3D, EW-NE can now help our customers by bending their pipe to be uniform and precise each time.
Who is the manager in charge of EW-NE Pipe Bending?
The Pipe Bender will be managed by Ryan Cruz, a Licensed Journeyman Electrician with 16 years of electrical contracting under his belt.
What type of pipe do we bend?
We can bend: EMT, Rigid, IMC, Stainless and Aluminum Rigid pipe. We are unable to bend: PVC and PVC Coated pipe.
What size pipe can we bend?
We can bend ½-inch up to 4-inch pipe.
Can we bend 6-inch pipe?
No, we can bend sizes ½-inch thru 4-inch pipe only.
Can we supply special radius bends?
Yes, in rigid type pipe we can supply special radius bends. However, we are unable to supply this for EMT bends.
Does the AutoBend work with any software programs?
It works with “Revit” and “Greenlee Bendworks”.
How do I send in what bends I want?
EW-NE has created a simple form for customers to use to send in their bend requests. We also accept Revit or Bendworks files. Get in touch with a Solutions Manager for more details (see below).
How fast can we have our order ready for pick up or delivery?
If ordered by 11:00 am, orders fewer than 20 bends can be delivered the next day. Lead times will be dependent on current workload. *Special Restrictions may apply.
Will it bend plumbing pipe or mechanical pipe?
No, we are only able to bend electrical pipe.
How does EW-NE deliver the bent pipe?
EW-NE has had specialized carts made to ensure transportation and delivery of the bent pipe will make it to your job site safely without damage. *Special restrictions apply.

Does EW-NE offer other Prefab Services?
Yes, EW-NE also offers: cutting and threading of bent rigid pipe, cutting and threading of custom length rigid nipples (Sizes: ½-inch thru 4-inch), custom cut MC Cable and Luminary Cable whips with ends stripped and ready to install, and more.
